There are few judges who make a tremendous impact on our thought process, interpretation skills, writing skills and many more.

For me – Justice GS Patel is one of them.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading his judgments & attending hearings at Bombay High Court on different laws (which are not part of my practice or teaching/ trainings). I read such judgments to learn some drafting skills (specifically – language used, sentence formation, summarized yet meaningful, impactful, most importantly – clarity).

Also, in all my lectures on ‘Recent & important judgments on Corporate Laws’, I always referred to few of his judgments along with analysis and language used by him.

Will surely miss his impactful presence in Bombay High Court.
